Stiwdio Echnos is run by two friends to provide animation workshops in Welsh and English to young people in Wales.

Animation Workshops
Workshops
We will work with schools, youth clubs, and community groups to provide fun and educational sessions that guide participants through the 2D animation process. All participants will produce a short animation clip and get to try different animation exercises using animation paper and a lightbox!
Sessions are available in English and Welsh.
Our workshops are suitable for children aged 8+.
Half-Day / Hanner-Dydd
2-3 Hours
Participants complete a short animation exercise developed by 2D animation masters. Participants will learn about film and media as they brainstorm ideas and creative themes with their peers. Participants will then be encouraged to apply these techniques to create their own unique short animation.
Full Day / Dydd Cyfan
5-6 Hours
Participants complete multiple short animation exercises developed by 2D animation masters. Participants will learn about film and media as they brainstorm ideas and creative themes with their peers. Longer sessions allow participants to try different specialisations within animation such as character design and storyboarding. Participants are then able to use these techniques as well as their creative plans to create their own unique short animation.

About Us / Amdano ni
Stiwido Echnos is run by two childhood friends, Katie and Lily. Both attended Ysgol Gyfun Ystalyfera and then studied Animation Production at the Arts University Bournemouth.
Working under Stiwdio Echnos, they plan to create their own Welsh-Language projects and share their love of 2D animation with young people in Wales.
